About
While Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) focus on basic self-care, Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) are more complex skills necessary for independent living in the community. This training equips caregivers with the knowledge to support clients in IADLs safely, respectfully, and in compliance with health and safety regulations. Learning Objectives By completing this training, caregivers will: • Understand what IADLs are and their importance to independence. • Learn safe practices for supporting clients with IADLs. • Recognize caregiver boundaries and ethical considerations. • Apply problem-solving skills through case scenarios.
